subscriber base reaches 562.21 Million. Of theseo

Wireless subscription reaches 525.15 Million

o Wireline subscription declines to 37.06

Overall Tele-density reaches 47.89. Broadband subscription is 7.83 million.

The number of telephone subscribers in India increased to 562.21 Million at the end of

December-09 from 543.20 Million in November-09, thereby registering a growth rate of 3.50%.

With this, the overall Tele-density in India reaches 47.89.
