During the Second India – US Strategic Dialogue held in July 2011 with U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, the two sides lauded the growth in trade and investment flows in both directions. They welcomed the increase and the balanced and positive growth in bilateral trade in 2010. They also acknowledged the enormous potential for further expansion and reiterated their commitment to take steps to expand trade ties further.
