Giving this information in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha , the Minister for Minority Affairs, Shri Salman Khurshid, also gave Community wise literacy rate, as compared with the national average, which is as follows:

Shri Khurshid informed the House that under the scheme of Saakshar Bharat, targets have been fixed taking into account the total population of minorities and also their share of the non-literate population for raising the level of literacy.

Minority Report ? LOL , The ruling party is so worried about Minority, wow, who will take care of majority?
Treat indians as indians what is this minority and majority division? its time to re write the constitution of india….
There was so much happened in old city and riots broke of after muslims attacked hanuman temple in moosabowli and result of that more than 30 worship places of muslims were damaged, can you give your views on that, and btw on hyderabad loksabha seat there are 70% muslims and 30% hindus, so hindus are considered minorities and as we see being a minority seems to be getting more attention of goverment. so write a post on minority appeasement in the country and specially in AP and Hyderabad. Congress being with MIM is secular? to add to this hindus are treated as second grade citizens in old city …your thoughts please
IN THIS COUNTRY HINDUS ARE ALWAYS CONSIDERED AS 2ND GRADE CITIZENS SINCE CENTURIES, FOR WHICH WE HAVE TO REVISIT THE MEDIVIAL ERA BEINGING OF 11TH CENTRUY TO TILL DATE. ONLY ONE DIFFEENCE IS THERE IN EARLIER PERIOD THERE WAS MONARCHY WHEREAS TODAY IS DEMOCRACY BUT ON THE SAME LINE. AFTER INDEPENNCE OF INDIA ON 15TH AUGUST, 1947, SOME TOP LEATERS OF INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS SUGGESTED THAT THE PARTY SHOULD BE DISMISSED BUT SOME LEADER WHO WANTS TO REAP BENEIFTS OF POWER ON THE EFFTORS OF OTHERS TAKEN OVER THE CONGRESS AND IT HAS BECAME PARTY OF THEIFS, THUGS, GOONS, CRIMINALS AND COMMUNILISM WHOT LOOTED THE COUNTRY AND OTHER PARTIES HAD ALSO FOLLOWED THE SAME COURSE AND NOW THE COUNTRY IS IN A STARE WHERE THERE IS NO RAY OF HOPE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
