Perfect man doesn’t exist, survey finds

The survey found a number of common faults that kept men from missing a perfect mark, including:

  • Leaving the bathroom door open.
  • Watching too many sports.
  • Poor personal grooming.
  • An inability to multitask.
  • Criticising the girlfriend’s driving.
  • Not getting along with the girlfriend’s family.
  • Leaving clothing on the floor.
  • Snoring.

The survey, commissioned by the grooming product company Remington, also found that one in five women said they believe their partner only pretends to listen to them.

Thirty-five per cent of respondents rated a good personality as the most important quality in a man.

“While they might happily overlook a few common flaws from their guys, there are certain behaviours that men just won’t get away with,” said Nikki McReynolds, Remington’s marketing director.
